What can I say...This is Peanuts we are talking about here!  
 
Now to start with, I am no usually overly enthusiastic about the Hallmark special editions of anything! But I do make an exception with this one.  
This little book was published for Christmas of 2000 and the big card company did a bang-up job on this one!  
This is a rather small book but it has a lot to offer between its covers, in particular for the collector of Peanuts memorabilia.  
 
Peanut Christmas Strips for 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980 and 1990 are featured. The quality and color is top rated and the publishers have done a very nice job in their selection.  
This is not a comprehensive collection of Schulz´s work, but it is a very good representation!  
 
I think one on the most interesting and valuable contribution this work makes is that it not only features most of the lovable Peanut characters, but you are able, by reading year by year, trace the development of each of the characters as they evolve through the author´s pen and words.  
 
I must admit that my favorite character, Snoopy of course, is featured in many of these strips which make it a double delight for me. The book also features a one page introduction on each of the characters including Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Pig-Pen, Lucy, Peppermint Patty and the rest of the gang.  
These little profiles are worth the price of the book along.
