Heart of Gold is a good biography based book for school aged kids.
It is an easy read for the elementary early middle school kids and it has a good positive message throughout.
Kerri talked about her struggles with not only gymnastics but being away from family, jealosy between teammates, and self doubt and insecurities that everyone has at some time in their lives.
She teaches through her book that if you stay true to yourself, you will always win out in the end.
I recommend this book to any gymnast who loves the sport of gymnastics.
