Sprout is seven years old. 
His adventures begin when he joins a party of carol-singers on Christmas Eve.

But before the evening is over, he has lost his new coat and the rest of the carol-singers, returned thr wrong dog to a lady dogsitter, and achieved one of his greatest ambitions: a ride in a police car.

Kaft is smoezelig en er zitten wat rode potloodstreepjes op. 
Binnenwerk is er verkeerd ingezet: je moet het boek dus op zijn kop draaien en dan kun je het gewoon van voor naar achter lezen. 
 
Verder in zeer goede staat, ook gezien de leeftijd.
