This zany take on the familiar nursery rhyme will make a welcome change from the usual holiday fare.  
 
This Mother Hubbard has one goofy dog. As she tries to get ready for Christmas, the oversize blue hound is always doing something silly: "She went to the attic / to dig out his skates. / But when she came back / he was juggling plates."  
 
The rhymes might just be silly if it weren't for O'Brien's hilarious artwork, which features the ever-sensible Mother Hubbard trying to work around her devil-may-care dog.
